I have worked as a Clinical Social Worker with the geriatric population in a variety of health care settings, over the last 40 years. As a clinical Social Worker, I have worked with seniors living in their homes as well as institutional settings.
As a Clinical Supervisor I developed and implemented the Detroit Area Agency on Aging Medicaid Waiver Program and the Social Work Department of In-House Hospice & Palliative Care (later named Great Lakes Caring) as well as the Jewish Chaplaincy Outreach program of Jewish Senior Life Services. As a Geriatric Care Manager, I continue to advocate, support and counsel seniors and their families.
