After attending this complimentary education session you will be able to:

Understand the historical significance of ketamine as an anesthetic. Understand that ketamine also has analgesic properties through activity at multiple receptors. List 3 possible routes of administration of ketamine. Understand that ketamine may have a unique role in treating opioid-induced hyperalgesias and neurotoxicity. Give 2 reasons why ketamine may play a larger role in pain medicine in the future.
