Course Description:
Attendees will learn the different types of Medicaid, what SSI and SSD are and the difference between them, as well as the application process for Medicaid. The presenter will discuss Medicare Cost Share and associated earning qualifications. Learners will be taught what Nursing Home Medicaid is as well as Medicaid Waivers and the differences between them. Learners will come away with a basic knowledge of Medicaid options, Medicaid qualifications, as well as the differences in coverage and services with Medicaid Waiver programs in Michigan.
