Understanding Brain Injury & the Road to Recovery

This course by Dr. Newton will discuss the geriatric facts concerning TBI, functional areas of the brain, pathway to communication with neurons, acquired brain injury, Traumatic Brian Injury (TBI), causes of TBI's, causes of non-TBI's, sports & TBI, domestic violence & TBI, military & TBI, impacts of TBI, physical deficits, social-emotional or behavioral issues, the rehabilitation process, funding for brain injury and more.
This course will bring awareness of the many concerns with various types of brain injuries and how to support the community it affects.
